The Neptunian Woman’s Club Food Wine Music fundraising held the even on September 14 at The Point in El Segundo. Gourmet appetizers, wine and beer tastings were provided in an intimate courtyard setting with guests mixing and mingling. Live music was presented by musician Andy Caine. All proceeds help fund NWC Student Scholarships and philanthropic programs.

The Neptunian Woman’s Club Welcome Back Beach Bash celebrated our newly transformed Clubhouse! Members enjoyed bites from Tin Roof Bistro and Gelson’s Viktor Benes Continental Bakery along with cocktails and dancing to groovy beach tunes from VoxDJs. Best of all was the Live Auction hosted by our local councilman Steve Napolitano which netted a significant amount of proceeds to benefit the Neptunian Woman’s Club 2019 Capital Campaign. We appreciated all our sponsors and ask you to support their businesses too!
The annual South Bay Chili Cook Off was founded in part by the Neptunian Woman’s Club in 2014, to benefit the Manhattan Beach Firefighters’ Burn Foundation. Held at the Manhattan Beach Fire Station executive and local chefs compete for bragging rights for the top three “Best Chilis” as voted for by attendees. Open to children of all ages and adults, the afternoon offers beverages, desserts, a DJ and best of all, interaction with the firefighters.
